Gowran postponed until Saturday Gowran Park's high-profile meeting on Thursday, due to stage the Connolly's Red Mills Thyestes Chase, has been postponed until Saturday. The course is forecast a severe frost overnight and officials have made an early decision to reschedule the fixture. General manager Margaret Fogarty said: "We've postponed until Saturday given the forecast tonight and tomorrow. "We have a better forecast over the weekend so hopefully we'll be able to race on Saturday." The meeting at Navan originally scheduled for Saturday will now take place on Tuesday, January 25th.
