Gowran subject to early morning inspection There will be a precautionary inspection at 7:30am on Wednesday morning at Gowran to determine whether racing can proceed, with the first of seven races due off at 4:10pm. Paddy Graffin, the IHRB Clerk Of The Course at Gowran said: "We have had 7mm of rain today at Gowran Park and it is still raining. "The ground at declaration time was soft, heavy in places, but it is now heavy, soft in places. We have spoken to Met Eireann and there is a status yellow rain and wind warning in place. "It is currently fit to race but as a result of the forecast we will have a precautionary inspection at 7:30am tomorrow morning to determine prospect of racing."
