'Great servant' Lord Erskine retires Harry Rogers has confirmed that he has drawn stumps with 13-year-old gelding Lord Erskine. The evergreen veteran was being prepared for a tilt at the Listowel Harvest Festival, however, heat came back in his tendon where he got a knock, so the retirement decision was taken. Lord Erskine signs off with a record of 79 races, yielding 14 victories across the Flat and over jumps including an Irish Cesarewitch (in 2017) and a win at the Dublin Racing Festival at Leopardstown in 2024.
