All change in today’s weather as wet and windy conditions sweep across the country and the ground is softening up at today’s two venues.

The Curragh’s eight race card begins at 1.30pm and features the Mooresbridge, Athasi and Tetrarch Stakes races. Following 6mm of rain, the straight course is good to yielding and the round course is good.

It’s currently raining with the possibility of a further 10mm (approx.) throughout the day. The far side track is being used and the stalls are in the centre for all sprints.

Down Royal has a seven race jumps card getting under way at 1.40pm. The ground is good to yielding, good in places following 2mm of rain. It’s currently raining, with the rain forecast to turn heavier as the day progresses.

Gowran Park has a two-day Flat fixture tomorrow and Wednesday with the ground described as yielding at the moment and up to 7mm of rain (approx.) forecast for today.
