Ground eases at Leopardstown & Sligo The ground at both Leopardstown and Sligo has eased ahead of racing this evening. Six millimetres of rain fell overnight at Sligo and it's currently good, good to yielding in places at the northwest venue, with further showers forecast. Leopardstown is also currently good, good to yielding in places after ten to fifteen millimetres of rain overnight. The going at Cork ahead of racing on Saturday is now yielding, yielding to soft in places, while it remains good at Kilbeggan where action also takes place on Saturday. The Group 1 Phoenix Stakes takes centre stage at the Curragh on Sunday and it's currently good to firm at the Co Kildare venue, but plenty of rain is forecast in the coming days.
