Ground eases at Leopardstown The going has changed at Leopardstown ahead of their big two-day meeting this weekend following 8mm of rain overnight. The chase track is now soft (yielding in places), while the hurdle course is yielding to soft (good to yielding last two furlongs). There is €561,500 on offer in prize-money over the two days, with the BHP Insurance Irish Champion Hurdle the highlight on Sunday. The Frank Ward Solicitors Arkle Novice Chase is another Grade 1 event on that card, while tomorrow there is big handicaps to solve with the Boylesports.com Hurdle and the Leopardstown Chase both worth €100,000.
