Ground eases at the Curragh The continuing unsettled weather has caused the ground to ease at the Curragh ahead of their three-day Derby meeting this weekend. The going at headquarters is currently yielding on the straight course and good to yielding on the round course following a further 6.7mm of rain yesterday evening. Nearby at Naas the ground is now described as yielding to soft for their six race card which begins at 6.30 this evening. There is also Flat racing tomorrow evening at Tipperary where the going is now yielding (good in places) after another 3mm of rain overnight. The forecast remains unsettled with a risk of further showers both today and tomorrow. Alan Magee
