Ground eases for weekend The ground has eased at the four tracks that race this St Patrick's weekend after rain overnight. Wexford is now soft, yielding in places after getting 8mm of rain. It was described as yielding, soft in places at declaration time. Down Royal is yielding to soft, from good to yielding (soft in places) having received 7mm of rain. Navan race on Sunday and the course is now soft, from yielding to soft, after 7.5mm. Limerick had the most rain (9.5mm) and the course is now heavy, soft to heavy in places. The track, which races Sunday and Monday, had been soft to heavy.
