Fozzy Stack recorded the biggest win of his career to date, as Aspen Grove landed the Grade 1 Fasig-Tipton Belmont Oaks Invitational Stakes on Saturday.

Successful in Group 3 company last season, the Justify bay had her most recent start in the 1000 Guineas at the Curragh, finishing last of 10 behind Tahiyra.

Upped in trip to a mile-and-a-quarter for the first time and given a well-judged ride by Oisin Murphy, she powered through to lead inside the final furlong, going on to prevail by three-parts-of-a-length.

Owned by Craig Bernick and Sue Maginer, the bay victor is now likely to stay in America for further big race targets.

Oisin Murphy was later just denied of a double, with The Foxes a luckless runner-up in the Belmont Derby.
