Halford takes up Korean challenge with Dude Mick Halford's new recruit Wild Dude will be on the plane as one of the international challengers in South Korea next month. Formerly trained in America by Jerry Hollendorfer, the Grade One-winning six-year-old was bought by Zhang Yuesheng and sent to Halford. He is due to run in the inaugural Keeneland Korea Sprint at Seoul on September 11. The Sprint is over six furlongs on dirt and on the same card as the Keeneland Korea Cup over nine furlongs. Halford said: "He's going to Seoul for a six-furlong race on Champions Weekend on September 11. "It clashes with Irish Champions Weekend, but Conor Hoban is going over to ride him and we'll see how he gets on."
