Harrington Starry-Eyed

Cheltenham Festival bumper winner Cork All Star delighted trainer Jessica Harrington when winning on his debut over hurdles last weekend.

The five-year-old was not extended to win at Fairyhouse by eight lengths and already looks a leading contender for top novice honours.

Indeed, he is already 8-1 favourite with Boylesports for the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival in March.

'He came out of the race super, I was delighted with him but I haven't made my mind up where he will go next,' said Harrington.

'I'll look for a winners-of-one race for him somewhere over two miles when one comes up.

'He's got a great engine and he jumps really well but however well they jump at home, you are always anxious when they go to the racecourse ? but he was very good,' she told At The Races.
