The concluding Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Roscommon, over a mile and a-half, went to the Shane Foley-ridden Marazion

The 80-rated four-year-old, trained for Moyglare Stud Farm by Jessica Harrington, raced in second before sent to the fornt over two furlongs out and was ridden out to beat former stablemate and 6/5 favourite Duvessa by three and a-quarter lengths.

Stable representative Richie Galway said “She’s a lovely filly, by Sea The Stars, so it was really nice to break her maiden.

“She’s promised plenty at home, and worked nicely. Moyglare have been very patient with her and it’s nice to get that done at the start of the season. It didn’t look like a bad little maiden.

“I’d presume Jessie and Kate will have a look and see if we can move her up the ranks a little bit, but it was important to get that done.
