Gordon Elliott 's He Can't Dance who had been placed in his last six hurdle races, dominated the Monk Bar Maiden Hurdle over three miles in Limerick.

He went off at 6/4 for this staying test, second in the market behind even-money-favourite King's Bucks

The favourite looked to be toiling in second on the long approach to the straight, though, as he was scrubbed along and came under the whip.

He Can't Dance was at the head of affairs and was still enjoying himself in the straight as he raced towards the penultimate flight. At this stage, Loyal Praetorian briefly looked a danger, but his effort soon petered out.

The leader galloped on well to put 13 lengths on King's Bucks who didn't perform to his 130-rating.

Jack Kennedy said: "He has been a bit disappointing and, for his ability, it has taken a while to get his head back in front. He probably holds on to a bit for himself, hence the blinkers, but it is nice for him to do that.

"He is a big chaser in the making."
