Heffernan Ban To Be Reduced Seamus Heffernan´s 14 Day ban incurred at Ascot on 23rd September is set to be reduced following his appeal in London On Tuesday.Heffernan had been found guilty under instruction H1 which refers to 'Pacemakers and team tactic' when riding Ivan Denisovich.After a four hour hearing in front of the disiplinary panel of the Horseracing Regulatory Authority in Shaftesbury Avenue it was decided that he will now face the lesser charge of either improper or careless riding under rule 153.A decision on his new penalties will be announced on either Wednesday or Thursday.
