Henderson In No Rush With Trabolgan Plans for 2005 Hennessy Gold Cup winner Trabolgan are still fluid as Nicky Henderson plots his return to the track. The nine-year-old has been off for nearly two years since his career highlight at Newbury, where he became the first horse since 1984 to carry top weight to victory and in the process provided jockey Mick Fitzgerald with an emotional success after he suffered a serious neck injury only months earlier.Trabolgan has been sidelined with a tendon injury but is now back in full work. However, the ground will have to ease significantly for Henderson to even contemplate running him.'We haven't discussed a comeback race for Trabolgan yet,' said Henderson. 'It's early days as yet and he is doing plenty, but there is a long way to go.'We need to see some rain first before we would consider anything.'Henderson also ruled his new recruit from Mags Mullins' yard, Chomba Womba, out of a potential clash with Gaspara at Wetherby in the new Listed Mares' only race on Saturday. He said: 'She won't go to Wetherby and I'll walk the course at Ascot to see if she will take her chance there ('Bet Live' williamhill.com Handicap Hurdle).'She's got some really decent form in the book and she's a lovely mare, but she wants to get her toe in the ground.'(C) PA Sport
