Hermana Estrella could reappear in French Guineas Hermana Estrella is on track for the French 1,000 Guineas in Paris on Sunday. Fozzy Stack's filly was only sighted once last season when staying on well to win a Group 3 at Naas. The form was franked when runner-up Quick Suzy won the Group 2 Queen mary at Royal Ascot. Stack said: "She won a Group 3 here (Naas) first-time out last year beating Quick Suzy so she will probably go there (French 1,000 Guineas) all being well. "We have had a very uncomplicated time and she was in Tipperary there during the week after racing. She seemed very well and she is in good form." Hermana Estrella is available at 20/1 for the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches (French 1,000 Guineas). Meanwhile, Stack's Castle Star is likely to head straight to the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot without a prep run. "He is in good shape. We'll keep him fresh and hopefully get him to the Commonwealth Cup," the trainer said. "He had plenty of races last year so there is no panic to run him. All those better sprints are in the second half of the year. We'll take our time. He's a clear-winded horse and has plenty of experience." Castle Star won at Listed and Group 3 level during his juvenile campaign and signed off with a runner-up finish in the Group 1 Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket in September.
