Emma Nagle has an impressive record when picking out horses with winning potential. Three of her horses to follow with top-class credentials are declared to run at Navan on Saturday, including an exclusive Willie Mullins dark horse.

Echoing Silence

12.00 Navan, Saturday, 2m. Maiden Hurdle

Highlighted in our recent ‘Top 5 most expensive point to pointers’ video as one to follow, this four-year-old mare realised an eyewatering £410,000 at last year’s Cheltenham Festival sale. The big strapping mare won at Ballycahane in March by four lengths when looking green and was eased down towards the line. Now with Henry de Bromhead, she makes her debut for the yard in the famous Honeysuckle colours and is currently 16-1 for the Ryanair Mares' Novices' Hurdle in March.

Kaid D'authie

11.30 Navan, Saturday, 2m. Maiden Hurdle

Willie Mullins revealed this exclusive dark horse to follow for the season ahead in a recent stable tour with Emma. Sporting the green and gold of JP McManus, the four-year-old makes his Irish racecourse debut after finishing fifth behind Cheltenham Festival winner Majborough in a 1m7f Hurdle at Auteuil in April 2023. Mullins said:

“I have a horse who is very like Majborough in appearance - Kaid D’authie, he will go novice hurdling. If the two of them walked up the yard together you would say Majborough is the older brother of Kaid D’authie, he is a horse you could look out for.”

He Can't Dance

3.27 Navan, Saturday, 2m. Bumper

This expensive purchase was also featured in our ‘Top 5 most expensive point-to-pointers’ video feature. Gordon Elliott saddles He Can't Dance who runs in the closing bumper on Saturday for Gigginstown.

The Jukebox Jury gelding won a point-to-point at Monksgrange in late March and cost £300,000 afterwards. The well-related sort is highly regarded and the market should prove a good guide to his chances.
