Hogan keeping options open for Daughter Denis Hogan will consider several factors before deciding whether to run Dedoctorsdaughter in the Kerry Group Handicap Chase at Listowel on Sunday. The mare was a ready winner at Kilbeggan last week and Hogan is slightly concerned about running her back too quickly, though there is an alternative race for her towards the end of the seven-day Festival. Hogan will also look at the potential opposition and see how much watering is applied to the track during the current dry spell. "I haven't had chance to study the weights yet. It's possible but there's only a short space of time between runs. We'll see how she is," said the County Tipperary trainer. "We'll also see how much water they put on with the really dry weather we've been having. If I thought they were going to water enough I might consider it. "There's a three-mile handicap chase later in the week there, so we could wait for that." Black Benny is unlikely to take up his entry, although the Shane Broderick-trained nine-year-old is close to returning to the track after being sidelined through injury since October. "He'll probably wait another couple of weeks. He's just had a bit of a layoff with an injury but he's in good shape and nearly ready to go," said owner Barry Connell. "It will probably take a run to have him straight."
