Holohan doubles up on another 33/1 shot! Lady Landhort flashed down the outside to land the finale at Dundalk, giving apprentice Reese Holohan a big priced double on the card. The 7lb claimer had struck on 33/1 shot Brave Approach two races earlier and Mark Fahey’s charge popped up at the same price to make it a 1155/1 brace. 5/2 favourite Jazzy Dancer made a bold bid from the front in the six-furlong handicap but was collared in the closing stages by the Magna Grecia filly as she recorded a half-length win. The winner employed hold-up tactics this evening having weakened after making the running on her handicap debut here in late January. Fahey said of the winning connections: "They are delighted. "We didn't actually think it would take this long. "I think we got the tactics right today. She does show us a lot of speed at home and the last time we probably overdid it, we were riding her too handy. Today, we said we would just drop her in and ride her for luck. "Reese gave her a fantastic ride, he's a great kid. I don't know how lucky I am to have him, he's riding plenty of winners for a lad only going a short space of time. "Hopefully, this one is not finished. She is frustrating - she shows us a lot of things, and we did a few different jobs with her and it has worked out. "She is in good form - wherever there is, we will show up." (Quotes by Michael Graham)
