"We first quoted Santa Barbara at 10-1 for the Qipco 1000 Guineas at the entry stage at the start of March and, following an extremely positive report from her trainer, punters have been backing her throughout the month," said Coral's David Stevens. "As a result her price has collapsed at all rates down to the current 2/1. "Based on Aidan O'Brien's comments and the subsequent market support for her, we will be expecting big things from the filly when she returns to action, as she has surely progressed considerably from her maiden win last September," added Stevens.
