Huge gamble in Newcastle's 3.50 A gamble of huge proportions has taken place at Newcastle, on Jennie Candlish's Party Rock (the 3.50 race). The same trainer and jockey teamed up on yesterday's plunge Yippee Kiyay, and have been strongly supported to repeat the heroics. Sean Quinlan rode Yippee Kiyay and that horse competed over here when with Sean Hennessy. Hennessy trains in Tipperary, Quinlan is also a native of the Premier County and there is further Irish connections to today's gamble, Party Rock (11/2 and bigger in places into around 6/4 now) as he was trained in Ireland by Mick Winters.
