Hurdle added to Downpatrick card March 7th As a result of the two steeplechases being cancelled from the programme due to ground conditions, Horse Racing Ireland has announced that there will be an additional hurdle race at the above meeting. This race (Race 43H) will be a maiden hurdle for four years old and upwards over two miles and six furlongs for horses that have not won a bumper or a flat race and will close for entries along with the rest of the meeting on Thursday 1st March. In addition to the above, the distance of The ‘One Day At A Time’ Flat Race has been altered to two miles, two furlongs and 50 yards.
