Improving Dear might have a lot more to offer Willie Mullins is beginning to believe that Listen Dear might be a lot better than he first thought. The mare impressed when stretching her unbeaten record over fences to three in Grade Three company at Cork on Sunday. "She put in a spectacular performance," Mullins told At The Races. "I only saw the last couple of fences, but chatting to Paul (Townend) on the phone, he said she galloped past the winning post and around the bend and he had to pull her up. "Normally in that sort of ground at Cork they stop dead once they get to the winning post, pull up and go through the gate, but he said she was still full of running. "What we thought might be a summer mare, she's obviously still improving."
