Inspection planned for Clonmel on Thursday Following 3mm of rain overnight the going at Clonmel remains heavy ahead of Thursday's meeting. The course is fit to race at present but the forecast is for heavy rain with approximately 15mm on Wednesday night. There will be a 7.30am precautionary inspection on Thursday morning. Gowran is also heavy ahead of their 'Red Mills' meeting on Saturday. The forecast is unsettled with heavy rain due later in the week. Navan race on Sunday and the ground is currently heavy, soft to heavy in places on the hurdle course (with fresh ground) & heavy on the chase track. Similarly it's an unsettled forecast with heavy rain later in the week. ·
