Intriguing Nunthorpe in prospect The Frankie Dettori-ridden Shea Shea heads 27 runners still in contention for next week's Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes at York. South African champion trainer Mike de Kock moved swiftly to secure the services of the veteran Italian rider once it became apparent that regular partner Christophe Soumillon would be unavailable. The King's Stand Stakes runner-up is reported to have pleased connections since the July Cup at Newmarket and is expected to relish the return to racing over the minimum. Moviesta has progressed in leaps and bounds this season and has proved popular in the ante-post markets since slamming his rivals in the King George Stakes at Glorious Goodwood. Tickled Pink - who was favourite for that race - could reoppose with connections reporting that she was found to be in season on the morning of that Group Two. Edward Lynam has left in both Sole Power and Slade Power but it is the firstnamed of the pair - a former winner of the race when sent off at 100/1 - who is expected to take his chance. There are no two year olds left in the race this year but, at the other end of the spectrum, Robin Bastiman's popular veteran Borderlescott may be allowed to take his chance.
