Investment returns aplenty from Imshivalla Imshivalla ran out a surprise winner of the Investec Wealth & Investment Stakes at Epsom. Although a previous winner at the track, Richard Fahey's mare had finished well beaten on her last two starts and was a 25-1 shot for what was a fiercely competitive handicap. Paul Hanagan's mount was never too off the speed and moved up to tackle the pacesetting Gold Prince with two furlongs to run. Hot favourite Dark Red and the strong-travelling What About Carlo tried to make moves from further back, but they were unable to bridge the gap in the rain-softened ground. Imshivalla eventually got the better of Gold Prince by a length and a quarter, with What About Carlo the same distance away in third. Hanagan said: "I was a little bit worried as she was a bit keen behind them but I'm glad we went a nice gallop, she stuck on well. "I've always thought a bit about her but she's highly-strung." Fahey said: "She loves the course and it's nice to see her win. "I was a bit surprised but she loves the ground and she loves the track. "I don't know why she ran so poorly the last twice and there were no real excuses, she seemed fine. "To be honest, she loves soft ground so wherever we get that, she'll go."
