Invincible Will gains third Curragh success The Gavin Cromwell-trained Invincible Will (4/1) was a game winner of the Kwiff More Bang For Your Bet Rated Race at the Curragh for jockey Gary Carroll. The son of Invincible Army has enjoyed the County Kildare racetrack and was gaining his third success here. He came into the race off the back of a good run in Doncaster recently. He was gutsy when asked for an effort by Carroll, reining in the Aidan Melia-trained Unauthorised in the final half furlong to post a neck success. Speaking after the race, Carroll said: “This lad ran in Doncaster the last day and he actually ran a blinder (to finish fifth). “Things fell right for him today and it’s great to get his head in front. “I thought going to the furlong pole that I’d win and I thought I was going to go away and win well. “When I got there I thought he parked and he waited. Thankfully he held on. “He likes an ease in the ground, seven to a mile. Hopefully we can go again.”
