Irish Eyes Smiling on All-Weather Duff, a hero to many Scoop6 winners last month, cruised to victory in the Listed Sunbury Stakes at Kempton. Kevin Manning made full use of the Irish raider's inside berth to nab the rail from the off with Salsa Steps keeping him company round the bend. But the 13-8 favourite always dictated the pace and quickened from the two-furlong pole to win with something in hand. Bonus, a 16-1 shot, did not get the clearest of runs in the straight and finished like an express train, to get within half a length while Ceremonial Jade kept on for third at 11-1. Apart from that Eddie Lynam-trained winner, there was further Irish joy when the Annette McMahon-handled Mister Thatcher took Lingfield's opener this afternoon under Hayley Turner.
