Istabraq was today reported on course for his seasonal debut at Leopardstown later this month.

The Aidan O`Brien-trained three-times Smurfit Champion Hurdle winner is the 11-10 favourite with the Tote to complete a four-timer in March.

The eight-year-old`s owner JP Mcmanus said: 'Aidan is very upbeat about the horse. It`s all systems go for Leopardstown after Christmas.

'Aidan says he`s stronger and better than ever. He is going to give him every chance to do the business at Cheltenham in March.'
