Joseph O'Brien's Jeaniemacaroney was another all-the-way winner in race two at Tramore - the Tote.ie Maiden over 1m 4f.

Dylan Browne McMonagle sent her on from the stalls and the duo were tracked in close attendance by the favourite Seo Linn with Colin Keane up top.

The race developed into a match in the final quarter of a mile and try as Seo Linn did, she was unable to get on terms with Jeaniemacaroney who was resolute in the closing stages as she hit the line with a length and three-quarters to spare at 9/4.

Runner-up Seo Linn went off the 8/13 favourite. Friary Road was unplaced in third, but did keep on at the finish.

The winning jockey said: "She jumped and travelled. She is straightforward, so I was able dictate things in front.

"She's got a bit of pace, so she was able to quicken up when I went for her - she was a good winner.

"I thought the favourite would be hard to beat, but our one has been hitting the crossbar and she deserved to get her head in front."

This was Jeaniemacaroney's first victory on the Flat to go with two over hurdles.
