Jetson to step up in trip at Leopardstown Jetson will aim to regain the winning thread in the Squared Financial Christmas Hurdle at Leopardstown on December 28th. Jessica Harrington's nine-year-old became the first horse to beat Quevega in nearly five years at Punchestown in May and made a perfectly respectable return to action in the Hatton's Grace Hurdle on Sunday. He finished second behind Sandra Hughes' Lieutenant Colonel, who may be in opposition again at Christmas. "I was delighted with him yesterday. After he won the Grade One at Punchestown, there was only one way to go with him," said Harrington. "He's weighted out of handicaps now, so we'll have to go the graded race route. "He'll probably be campaigned in Grade Ones as he'll have a penalty otherwise and isn't over-big. "Yesterday Lieutenant Colonel just had a bit too much foot for him, two and a half is a bit short as he a real three-mile stayer. "I'm not saying he'll win another Grade One, but he'll be there or thereabouts. "He's earned a lot of money and is a great little servant." Jetson and Lieutenant Colonel may be joined by Jonjo O'Neill's World Hurdle winner More Of That and the Rebecca Curtis-trained At Fishers Cross. Willie Mullins has entered Briar Hill, Zaidpour and Glens Melody with Bog Warrior another to note.
