Katie Walsh talks about the thrill of riding at Cheltenham

Betway Ambassador Katie Walsh chats to Nick Luck about her experiences of riding at the Cheltenham Festival.

The 35-year-old former amateur jockey won three races at the Cheltenham Festival, 2010 County Hurdle on Thousand Stars, 2010 National Hunt Chase aboard Poker De Sivola and most recently the 2018 Champion Bumper on Relegate.

The Cheltenham Festival 2020 begins on Tuesday 10th March when the feature race on Day 1 will be the Unibet Champion Hurdle for which the mare Epatante is the current favourite at 7/2..

The feature event on Day 2 is the Betway sponsored Queen Mother Champion Chase. The Hat-trick seeking Altior currently heads the market with Betway at 2/1.

Day 3's feature event is the Stayers' Hurdle where last year's winner Paisley Park is currently the shortest priced favourite of the week at 4/6.

The final day's action culminates with the Gold Cup on Friday 13th March. Bookmakers cant' split two at the head of the market, Santini and last year's winner Al Boum Photo at 7/2, in what promises to be a thrilling end to another fantastic Cheltenham Festival.
