With Champion Jockey and recent BBC Sports Personality Award winner Tony McCoy now booked for the ride, Kauto Star is now best priced at 7/8 with 32Red while the Ireland's more traditional bookmakers generally make Kauto Star a 4/5 chance.

The star chaser is equally strong on the betting exchanges at around 1.8.
