Leading jockey Colin Keane has received a seven-day suspension at Gowran today having eased up beaten Sindagan in the closing stages of the Gowran Park Golf Club Maiden, costing the gelding a runner-up-placing.

Six-time champion Keane was held by winner Go Just Do It in second place on Sindagan in the closing stages of the 5.18pm race, but eased his mount in the closing strides, as newcomer Solana Beach claimed second-place, by a short-head.

Keane was suspended for seven days for a first offence in such circumstances.
