Kelly collects with mid-season purchase Juvenile mid-season purchase Heart Of You (16/1) registered a first success today, landing Dundalk’s James Crowe 1 Year Memorial Nursery for new owner David Kelly, trainer Ken Condon and jockey Billy Lee. The Lucky Vega-filly had shown promise in two starts for owner/breeder Ace Stud earlier this year and having changed hands for 21,000gns last month, today scored a last-gasp success from Lake Lugano . Jockeys championship-leader Lee (who later completed a double) said "I jumped grand but she just didn't really travel early, so I had to give her a chance. I felt we were going a good gallop and rode for luck then, came up through the middle of them and, when I got in the clear, she picked up really well. "She should get a mile, so hopefully there is more improvement. She got the mile well in Killarney the last day but I'd say the ground caught her out. "She's a very likeable filly and is well bought by David (Kelly), so hopefully there is another day in her." Quotes from Michael Graham
