Kelly making plans for Glen Kiln & Linden Arden After saddling a second winner in as many days at Tramore on New Year's Day, Harry Kelly gave an update on his stable stars Glen Kiln and Linden Arden, with both carrying the famous red and green silks of the Bowe family. The pair were in action at Punchestown on New Year's Eve, with the 144-rated Glen Kiln finishing a gallant second to El Fabiolo. Left in front when Sommesky crashed out at the final flight, Linden Arden was successful in the Tote's Cheers To 2026 Handicap Hurdle and could now be Cheltenham-bound. "Glen Kiln is in great form after his race and I'll have a chat with the lads now and see where we go," Kelly reflected. "We were unlucky to meet El Fabiolo in a race like that, and even Brian (Hayes) said before the race that he had been working the house down. "We're in between a rock and a hard place with him. We'll keep an eye on some of the graded races in between the big ones. "Hopefully he'll go chasing next year and he'll improve as he's only gone seven." On Linden Arden, he added: "We won't run him back again too soon, he likes to be fresh. We'll just see how he is. "The ground was just too soft for him at Naas (when down the field on his penultimate start) and if it had been better on the day, I'd imagine he would have ran an awful lot better. "There is a couple of races for him at Cheltenham but I'll just have to chat to the lads and see."
