Kempton next for Menorah

Philip Hobbs is looking to get more experience into Menorah after he opened his account over fences at Taunton on Friday.

The former smart hurdler was in the process of making a winning debut over the larger obstacles at Exeter in November when he unseated Richard Johnson at the second-last.

He then returned to hurdles without much success in the International at Cheltenham, but put in a polished display apart from a blunder at the final fence last week.

"He's absolutely fine and he could run at Kempton on Saturday week (January 14) as I'd like to give him some more experience," said Hobbs.
