Jockey Jack Kennedy is having one of the best seasons of his career so far. The Kerry native leads the jockeys championship with 70 winners, which is the most that he has ever ridden in a season, told Dave Keena he is very much looking forward to the Leopardstown Christmas festival as his confidence is high and Gordon Elliott’s horses are in superb form.

"It's a massive help that Gordon has his horses in savage form, so long may it last. When the horses are running well and you are getting winners, the confidence would be high," Kennedy said.

"They (winners) all count, it is great to get winners. Obviously, the big winners are a bit more special, but it is brilliant to ride winners anywhere."

Among the Grade 1 entrants Kennedy could partner during the busy festive period are Fil Dor, Minella Crooner, Mighty Potter and Teahupoo.
