Keogh off the mark in Australia Irish apprentice Ronan Keogh partnered his first winner in Australia when guiding Risk It to an easy success in the Brighton Cup at Hobart, in Tasmania yesterday. The Charlie Goggin-trained gelding made all for a four-length success under Keogh. The 22-year-old has been in Australia since November 12th and is apprenticed to Tasmanian trainer Chris Crook. Keogh, was attached to Joanna Morgan here and rode his sole winner on Irish soil at Downpatrick last May. He had previously spent time in England with Karl Burke and Jamie Osborne, riding 11 winners.
