Kilbeggan to inspect Officials at Kilbeggan have announced an inspection for 8am on Thursday to assess prospects of racing on Friday. Parts of the course are unfit for racing at present and officials have decided to call an inspection for the day before racing. Turf Club press officer Cliff Noone said: "Parts of the course are unfit for racing at the moment. "Obviously they have been racing on it and with the way the weather is, it is very difficult to keep things going. "It's enough to cause major concern at the moment so they will make a decision on Thursday morning."
