Killarney good ahead of opening day

Following a dry night, the ground in Killarney is good for both the Flat and National Hunt courses.

There will be selective watering on the national hunt track this morning ahead of the jumps action tomorrow.

It is set to be mainly dry today with light showers. Rain is forecast tonight into Friday (up to 20mm approx).

Looking ahead to Saturday it is going to be showery according to Met Eireann.

The ground at Ballinrobe is good ahead of their card on Monday. Selective watering took place on Wednesday.

There is a forecast for approximately 10-12mm of rain on Friday and officials are monitoring the situation regarding further watering.

The ground at Bellewstown is good, good to firm in places for the Flat and good to firm, good in places for the national hunt track.

Rain is forecast for Friday and Saturday (10-15mm approx). It is set to be mild and dry thereafter. They are currently watering the NH racing line.

The ground at Tipperary is yielding ahead of next Thursday's card. They expect showers in the region over the coming days.
