Killarney Next For Psychedelic Funk Psychedelic Funk could head for Killarney after connections decided against an outing in the Betfred Hungerford Stakes at Newbury on Saturday. Following consecutive placed efforts at Group Three level earlier this season, the son of Choisir made the most of having his sights lowered when bolting up in a conditions event at Naas late last month. Trainer Ger Lyons gave his charge an entry in this weekend's seven-furlong Group Two in Berkshire, but he will remain on home soil for a potential appearance in the Listed Vincent O'Brien Ruby Stakes next Wednesday. Lyons said: "Psychedelic Funk is in good form and we are thinking of going for the Ruby Stakes at Killarney next week."
