Kinane has picked the right one says Fallon

Kieren Fallon believes his weighing-room colleague Michael Kinane has made the right decision in choosing to ride Aidan O`Brien`s Hawk Wing in the Vodafone Derby on Saturday.

Kinane opted for the Sagitta 2000 Guineas runner-up instead of stable companion High Chaparral.

Persistent rain at Epsom on Wednesday fuelled speculation that Kinane might switch to High Chaparral but he has stuck with his original choice.

Johnny Murtagh takes the ride on High Chaparral while Fallon rides O`Brien`s third string Louisville.

When asked which horse would he have picked if he had been in Kinane`s shoes Fallon told Attheraces: 'Hawk Wing.

'I was very impressed with Hawk Wing`s run in the Guineas. He went by me (on King Of Happiness) as though I was stopped - I was very impressed with him.'

And of his chances on Louisville Fallon added: 'I like my horse. He`s won his maiden and Aidan is quite keen on him.'
