The Eamonn Delany-trained Accustomed (9/2) was victorious in the QuinnBet Bellewstown Handicap Hurdle. The six-year-old son of Shirocco was given a great ride by jockey Daniel King, who completed a double on the evening, to keep out Burning Ability and score by three-quarters of a length.

Speaking after the race, assistant trainer Alan Delany said: "He got into a bit of traffic trouble (at Punchestown) and we were late getting out but, when he did get out, he motored home.

"We said we would put him away for this. It was touch and go as we were last man in. I thought we weren't going to get in, but they are the chances you take. I had him entered for Roscommon on Monday if we didn't (get in).

"He did that well there today. Look, we are off bottom-weight. I would say he would have liked a lead for a little bit longer, he maybe idled a little bit in front."
