King John at Naas

Arthur Moore finally takes the wraps off last year's Grand National runner-up King Johns Castle at Naas on Sunday.

Moore used the Johnstown Handicap Hurdle over two miles and three furlongs as the grey's final Aintree prep a year ago and he wound up winning the race.

King Johns Castle went on to finish just four lengths behind Comply Or Die and despite earlier reports from the stable at the start of the season that he would miss the campaign, he is back in the National reckoning.

"He has had a good preparation but this is his first run back and we are just looking forward to seeing how he gets on," said Moore.

The 10-year-old is a 25-1 chance with Sky Bet to go one better than last year at Aintree in April.
