La Notre Verte leads home Mullins 1-2-3 Well-supported La Notre Verte (2/1 — 13/8f) led home a 1-2-3 for champion trainer Willie Mullins in Tramore’s Victoria House Tramore Mares Beginners Chase today, scoring for jockey JJ Slevin and joint-owners Isaac Souede and Simon Munir. Mullins’ morning-favourite Future Prospect raced keenly and having led at halfway, was no match for La Notre Verte in the closing stages, with six lengths separating the pair at the line. Straight Home finished a further 10 lengths adrift in third, completing Closutton’s clean-sweep. Slevin stated “I wanted to keep it fairly straightforward, Danny (Mullins, on Future Prospect) took the lead off me after a mile and I was happy to follow. The trip suited her and she galloped on well. “She jumped a little to her left but on the whole was pretty good. If we could find some blacktype over fences, that would be brilliant and hopefully she’ll be capable of doing that.” Trainer Mullins had earlier scored with maiden hurdle-winner Lady Lena .
