Ladbrokes aim to boost Derby attendance

Ladbrokes, the betting partner of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby, are doing their bit to attract customers to the premier Irish Classic.

Two carriages on the 12.15 train (The Ladbrokes Express) from Heuston station will be available free of charge to Derby ticket holders. Passengers will be provided with a return ticket and a shuttle service will be running throughout the day from Kildare Station to the Curragh racecourse.

Ladbrokes customers with an OddsOn loyalty card or account holders will be able to avail of a 2 for 1 ticket offer for Friday and Saturday and €10 off Reserved Enclosure tickets on Derby Day itself.

The bookmaking firm, which sponsors five races over the three days of the Curragh meeting, has also teamed up with The Irish Heart Foundation and are donating a total of €1000 in charity bets throughout the weekend which will be placed by RTE's Brian Gleeson, Tracy Piggot, Ted Walsh and Robert Hall.
