A good crowd was in attendance at Wexford today for 'Ladies Day' at the south east venue.

Female racegoers competed for a €2,000 shopping spree thanks to Littlewoods Ireland while it was also free in for the ladies.

The best dressed competition was judged by TV presenter Maura Derrane.

Not to be outdone Flash the pony dressed up for the occasion and was turning plenty of heads.

Rain threatened to dampen spirits during the first race but thankfully things brightened up for punters.
