Leicester goes ahead This afternoon's meeting at Leicester goes ahead as planned after the track passed a second inspection. Clerk of the course Jimmy Stevenson carried out an initial check at 8am and while he was confident of racing, he felt it prudent to inspect again at 11am. However, Stevenson reports the track to be raceable and was able to give the green light a little earlier than intended. He said: "The frost has come out of the ground exactly how I expected it to do. "Everything's all ready for the meeting to go ahead."
