Leighs Fixtures Auctioned Great Leighs' first six fixtures will be shared equally between Lingfield Park and Wolverhampton following Friday's auction.Britain's newest racecourse was due to open in October but a delay was announced last week.Hopes are still high that racing will take place at the Essex venue before the end of the year.The changes to the 2006 fixture list, approved by the British Horseracing Board, are: October 6: Lingfield; October 8 Wolverhampton; October 15: Lingfield; October 29: Wolverhampton; November 28 (switched from November 4) Wolverhampton; November 5, Lingfield. ?
